A plastic kit of the supersonic fighter-bomber Dassault Mirage IIIE/EZ in 1:72 scale from Modelsvit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed short-run injection-molded kit of the French supersonic fighter-bomber Dassault Mirage IIIE in 1:72 scale from the maker Modelsvit. The package makes it possible to build the South African Mirage IIIEZ version as well, and besides the plastic parts it holds an etched fret, self-adhesive masks for the glazing and two canopy options (open and closed alike). The level of detail is more like that of a larger scale and the build is more demanding.
The Mirage III is a single-engine tailless aircraft with a delta wing, powered by a SNECMA Atar engine. The IIIE version was multirole - intended for attacks on ground targets and for fighter duties alike - and had a longer fuselage and better navigation and attack equipment than the older IIIC. It served with the French Air Force and with a number of export users; the IIIEZ version was operated by the South African Air Force (SAAF).
Think through which version and armament you want to show before the build. Glue the fine etched parts with super glue and the plastic ones with a thin cement for plastic. Protect the glazing with the masks supplied, lay the paints on with an airbrush and settle the decals onto a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
