1:72 Lavochkin La-5 kabuki masks are self-adhesive masking masks made of Japanese kabuki paper, cut for the kit of the Soviet La-5 fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of pre-cut masking masks made of Japanese kabuki paper. The material is thin, conforms well to the shape and leaves no adhesive residue when it is removed. The masks are cut exactly to the shape of a particular kit of the Soviet Lavochkin La-5 fighter in 1:72 scale; the kit they belong to is stated by the manufacturer on the packaging. It is not a model but an aid for painting.
Take the masks off the sheet with tweezers and apply them with a dry hand; grease from your fingers spoils the adhesion. Once a mask is in place, press the edge down with a blunt tool so that paint cannot creep under it. Spray the paint in thin coats; one heavy coat creeps under more readily than three light ones. Take the masks off as soon as the paint has set, and pull them back at an angle over themselves. Paint the canopy frames first in the interior color and only then in the outer shade; the transition then looks right from the inside.
The set contains masks only. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
