An aftermarket detail set, not a kit. Compared with version A, this VERSION B additionally holds parts for rendering damaged road wheels, shot through or deformed, which is a rewarding feature for models with battle weathering. The photo-etched brass parts at the same time replace simplified plastic elements and add details such as fenders, side armor and grilles. Intended for plastic models of the Pz.Kpfw.IV medium tank in the Ausf.F2/G version in 1:35 scale.
The Panzer IV was the most widespread German medium tank of the Second World War. The Ausf.F2/G versions carried the long 75 mm gun and additional side armor. Damaged road wheels fit well into dioramas showing a vehicle after a hit or in the field.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, make the bends on a bending tool and glue the parts with super glue. The damaged parts stand out once washes and pigments are applied. The set is suited rather to more experienced modelers.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
