Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the British family workshop Perry Miniatures contains fourteen riders in kit form, a painting guide and bases. The figures are roughly twenty-eight millimeters tall, which is the most widespread size for tabletop battles, and they are made up of several parts, so you put the pose and the equipment together to suit yourself.
The hussars were the most colorful element of the Austrian army and came from the Hungarian part of the monarchy. They served in every role: they rode out on reconnaissance, fought minor skirmishes ahead of the main position and, at the decisive moment, charged in a closed line. Their braided dolman, slung pelisse and fur cap are among the most rewarding subjects of the whole period.
The riders can be built in full dress as well as in field dress, and you can choose between a gallop, a saber on the shoulder and the moment of the charge. Paint from the bottom up: the horse first, then the rider separately, and only at the end join the two parts. For the braiding of the dolman a thin brush and paint thinned to a half-dry state pay off.
Before you start painting, run a scalpel along the edges of the parts and remove the parting line from the mold, or the base coat will bring it out. Paints and glue are not supplied with the figures.
