This resin detail set of the Quickboost range, made by the Czech maker Aires, replaces the supercharger air intake on a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the late G-14/AS, G-10 and K versions, scale 1:32. It is not an aircraft model but a replacement part for a more accurate detail.
The enlarged air intake on the left side of the nose is a typical recognition feature of the late Bf 109 versions. The precisely cast part brings the right shape as well as the thin edges of the mouth that a plastic part usually cannot reach.
Wash the part free of the mold release agent, separate it from the casting block with a cut and glue it with cyanoacrylate. If need be, level the joint with the cowling using filler and sand it down. Darken the inside of the intake and tune it in with the finish of the fuselage.
This is a modeling resin accessory, not a complete model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
