IA-58A Pucara Foreign User / Special Pucaras 1:48 - Two Bobs decals

A decal set in 1:48 scale from Two Bobs. It is not a kit but a decal sheet for a finished model of the FMA IA-58A Pucara. This set concentrates on foreign users and on special, out-of-the-ordinary finishes of the machine.

The real subject

The FMA IA-58 Pucara is an Argentine twin-engine turboprop aircraft for counterinsurgency work and close support of ground forces. Besides the Argentine Air Force, other states had it in service as well, and some machines served in special test or display roles. It is precisely these less usual schemes that give a model a fresh look.

Use and tips

• Apply them over a glossy painted surface so that they settle perfectly
• Use decal softener and setting solution for adhesion to the panel lines
• Once dry, seal them with a matte or semi-gloss clear coat

Who the set is for

• Modelers who want an unusual Pucara in 1:48 scale
• Fans of foreign operators and special schemes
• Collectors of unusual attack aircraft

The set holds decals only. The kit, the paints and the clear coat are not included in the package.
