BlackSnake Model 1:35 Tiger Crew Totenkopf in Winter Uniform (Eastern Front) No. 4 is a collector's resin figure of a German tank crewman for dioramas and models in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a separate resin figure in 1:35 scale from the French brand BlackSnake Model, which specializes in 3D-designed figures with a high level of detail. The figure represents one of the crew of a German Tiger tank in winter dress and is meant for the modeler to build and paint. It is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin casting.
The figure shows a Waffen-SS tank crewman of the Totenkopf Division in winter clothing, as period photographs of the fighting on the Eastern Front in the Second World War show him. The winter camouflage and weather clothing of tank crews is a popular subject for historical dioramas with heavy tanks. Crew figures usually complete a tank model and give the scene both scale and a story.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, carefully cut away the casting blocks and glue the joints with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. For painting, an acrylic primer works well, followed by brush or airbrush work and a finish of washes and dry brushing to bring out the folds of the uniform and the face.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
