A model of the Soviet KV-1 heavy tank in its flamethrower version, 1:100 scale. The name states one piece in the package.
Responsibility details are not available.
The KV-1 was a Soviet heavy tank of the Second World War. It was famous for heavy armor, which gave it the upper hand in the first years of the war, and at the same time for great weight, which took mobility away from the machine and put a strain on the transmission. The flamethrower version was meant to act at short range against fortified positions and against infantry dug into the ground, that is where ordinary fire is of little use.
A tank just under seven centimeters long fits in the palm of your hand. The 1:100 scale suits places where what matters is the whole and not the individual machine: a group scene with several vehicles, a clear display case where vehicles are compared side by side, or a tabletop game. A collection in this scale also fits on a shelf that would hardly take a single large model.
Cut excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the remainder flat. If you are going to paint the model, wash and degrease it first, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. Apply the paint in thin coats so that the detail is not flooded in such a small scale, and bring the depth out with dark shading and a dry brush along the edges.
The model suits collectors of Second World War vehicles and tabletop battle players who need a vehicle in a uniform small scale. Paints, glue and a display base are not included, unless stated otherwise.
