The QUICKBUILD range from Airfix is built on a simple principle: the parts click into one another, they hold firmly and you need neither glue nor paints to put them together. This model covers the LEVC TX London taxi, that is the current generation of the famous black cab. The result is a sturdy model that stands up to handling and will even survive ordinary play, unlike a conventional glued kit.
The London taxi is among the most easily recognized vehicles in the world, and its current form carries the TX designation from the manufacturer London EV Company. The vehicle came about as an answer to demands for cleaner running in the city center: the drive is electric and the combustion engine serves only as a range extender.
