USCHI Rivet Decals - rivet decals (positive rivets)

Decal sheets from the German brand USCHI van der Rosten with what are known as positive rivets. Printed, finely raised rivet heads are arranged into rows and fields on a thin decal film. Once applied to the surface of a model they produce realistic raised rivets without your having to shape or attach them one by one. The solution suits aircraft, vehicles, ships and other subjects where surface riveting needs to be added or restored.

Use

• Cut the sheet into the strips or fields you need, following the layout of the rivets on the model.
• Apply the decal like an ordinary waterslide decal onto a smooth surface, ideally one polished with clear coat.
• Using a decal softener will help the film settle down onto the surface.
• Once it is dry, apply clear coat over the surface so that the rivets blend into the surrounding paint.
