Mr.Color Spray S044 Tan - semi-gloss light brown (Gunze / Mr.Hobby), 40 ml

A semi-gloss lacquer spray (aerosol) from the Japanese brand Gunze Mr.Hobby with a volume of 40 ml in a light brown, sandy beige tan shade. It is a lacquer ready for immediate application that needs no airbrush and no compressor. It is a universal earthy color with wide use: leather items and equipment, pouches and straps, desert vehicles and modern equipment in coyote and FDE tones, and light wood as well. It is precisely this versatility that makes tan one of the most used earthy colors on a modeler's bench.

Use

• Shake for 1 to 2 minutes before spraying (there is a mixing ball inside), otherwise the paint sprays thin and unevenly.
• Apply thin coats from a distance of roughly 25 cm; a heavy coat runs and forms orange peel.
• Spray in warm, dry conditions - in cold and damp a milky bloom appears on the finish.
• It is a lacquer that attacks plastic - proceed carefully on thin parts and test on a hidden area first.
• A tip for light wood and equipment: tan as the base, pick the edges out with a dry brush and the recesses with a darker wash - leather and wood then gain depth.

Who it is for

For builders of figures and their equipment, of desert and modern military hardware (coyote and FDE) and of dioramas with light wood and leather accessories. Good companions are washes for deepening, modeling brushes, a matte varnish for finishing and other earthy shades for shading and transitions.

Lacquer fumes - use only in a well-ventilated area and with a respirator. The aerosol is flammable, so keep it away from fire and heat. The spray does not suit fine detail, but it does suit larger areas.
