S070 Dark Green - (Flat) Spray

Mr.Color Spray S070 Dark Green - matte dark green (Gunze / Mr.Hobby), 40 ml

A matte lacquer spray (aerosol) from the Japanese brand Gunze Mr.Hobby with a volume of 40 ml in a dark green. It is a lacquer ready for immediate application which needs neither an airbrush nor a compressor - an excellent choice for modelers without an airbrush and for covering larger areas quickly. The dark military green suits armored vehicles, tanks, camouflage finishes and military equipment. Thanks to its matte surface it is an ideal base under weathering - washes, filters and pigments hold better on matte paint and do not glare.

Use

• Shake it for 1 to 2 minutes before spraying (there is a mixing ball inside), otherwise the paint delivers thinly and unevenly.
• Apply thin coats from a distance of roughly 25 cm; a heavy coat runs and creates orange peel. Better several thin passes than one heavy one.
• Spray in warm, dry conditions - in cold and damp a milky haze appears on the finish.
• It is a lacquer that attacks plastic - proceed carefully on thin parts and clear canopies and test on a hidden area first.
• A matte green is a rewarding base under weathering - once dry, apply washes, filters and pigments for realistic wear on vehicles.

Who it is for

For builders of military vehicles, tanks and armored vehicles, and further for camouflage and military equipment. The shade chosen corresponds to one particular green - the range also contains further green shades, so choose according to the particular army and camouflage scheme. Washes and pigments for weathering and a matte clear coat for unifying the surface go well with it.

Lacquer fumes - use only in a well-ventilated area and with a respirator. The aerosol is flammable, so protect it from flame and heat. A spray meters less finely than an airbrush and does not suit fine detail, but it does suit areas.
