S092 Black - a semi-matte Gunze Mr.Color lacquer in a spray (40 ml)

The black shade from the lacquer Mr.Color range by the Japanese brand Gunze (Mr. Hobby), supplied as an aerosol spray with a volume of 40 ml. It is a solvent-based lacquer, not a water-thinnable acrylic, with a semi-gloss surface. A semi-matte black is one of the most universal modeling colors - it suits chassis, tires, joints, shadows, technical parts and the frames of mechs. Real black parts are not mirror-glossy, so a semi-gloss reads more realistically than a gloss black. The spray works straight from the can, so you can apply the paint even without an airbrush.

Use

• Shake the can thoroughly for several minutes before use.
• Spray in thin coats from a distance of approximately 25 cm - better several light applications than one heavy one.
• Work in warm, dry conditions; damp and cold spoil the surface.
• As a lacquer it may attack bare plastic - on delicate parts test it in a hidden place first or use a primer.
• It also suits a dark base under shading and preshading.
