Responsibility details are not available.
A modeling spray from the Mr.Color lacquer line by the Japanese brand Gunze. The shade RLM65 Light Blue is the light blue of the lower surfaces of German aircraft from the early phase of the Second World War, the era of the Battle of Britain and of machines such as the Messerschmitt Bf 109 E. RLM denotes the standard of the German air ministry of the day (Reichsluftfahrtministerium), under which the shades of aircraft camouflage were unified. For an authentically built German aircraft the correct RLM shade is therefore essential. The finish is semi-gloss. Note that it is not an acrylic but a solvent-based lacquer.
RLM65 is the early shade for lower surfaces (the early part of the war). It was later replaced by RLM76 Light Blue, a light blue-gray of the late war, which is what late machines should be painted in. Pick the right one of the pair according to the period you are building: RLM65 for early, RLM76 for late.
For builders of German aircraft of the Second World War who want the historically correct color for the lower surfaces of early machines.
Safety: the lacquer aerosol is highly flammable and the fumes are harmful to health. Work in a well-ventilated space or outdoors, use a respirator, stay away from open flame and sources of sparks. Keep out of the reach of children.
