Mr.Color Spray Dark Green (Mitsubishi) is a semi-gloss lacquer spray from Gunze (40 ml) - the dark green of the upper surfaces of later Japanese naval aircraft from Mitsubishi production.
Responsibility details are not available.
The aerosol version of the proven Mr.Color range from the Japanese manufacturer Gunze. It is a lacquer, not an acrylic or an enamel - it creates a thin, firm and durable film with a semi-gloss surface that matches the real appearance of the skin of combat aircraft. The shade stands for the dark green of the upper surfaces of later aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) from Mitsubishi production.
Later naval aircraft received dark green upper surfaces over a light lower color (that is how the later Mitsubishi Zeros looked as well). Each factory, however, mixed this green differently - the range also contains a separate Nakajima dark green. Anyone building a particular machine has to reach for the green of the factory that built the aircraft, otherwise the model does not match the real subject. That is exactly where the value of these factory shades lies.
For modelers building later Japanese naval aircraft of the Second World War from Mitsubishi production who want a historically faithful factory shade and a durable semi-gloss surface without needing an airbrush.
A lacquer spray. The solvent attacks plastic and is more aggressive than with acrylics - work in a well-ventilated area or outdoors, use a respirator and protect your surroundings from drifting mist. Flammable. Volume 40 ml.
