Tamiya Sanding Sponge Sheet, 400 grit

A flexible sanding sponge with a layer of abrasive based on aluminum oxide with a grit of 400. Thanks to the soft foam core the sheet bends and follows rounded surfaces, edges and awkward corners where rigid sandpaper fails. The 400 grit suits the middle stage of sanding, that is leveling mold seams and the marks left by sprue gates before the finer steps.

Use

• The sheet can easily be cut with a knife to the shape and size needed.
• Suitable for sanding plastic, and also wood and metal.
• It can be used for dry as well as wet sanding, and wet sanding reduces dust and clogging.
• Once clogged, rinse the sponge with water and let it dry, and it will last longer.
