Vallejo Satin Varnish

The Vallejo satin acrylic varnish is a clear protective layer, not a paint. It creates a compromise between a matte and a gloss surface - a gentle silky satin that looks natural while protecting the finish from abrasion, dust and moisture. The fast-drying formula has a high hardness and permanence and comes in a dropper bottle.

Use

  • A final protective layer where a matte surface is too dry and a gloss one too conspicuous.
  • Applied with a brush as well as with an airbrush; stir before use, thinning with water is minimal.
  • Suits modern vehicles, figures and civilian hardware with a semi-gloss surface.
  • Apply in thin, even coats.
