A spray booth is useful only as long as air passes through it. The filter gradually clogs with overspray, the extraction weakens and the mist of paint stays in the room instead of leaving through the hose. For owners of spray booths who work with an airbrush regularly. How quickly a filter clogs depends mainly on what you spray: dense opaque paints and primers clog it far sooner than glazes. So check the filter by holding it up to the light, and as soon as it stops letting light through, change it. Working in a clogged booth makes no sense: the atomized paint comes back into the room and settles on the model and on you.
Always ventilate well when spraying and protect your airways. A filter is no substitute for a respirator.
