SG11 Gundam Color Spray MS Char's Red is a lacquer aerosol from Gunze in the deeper of the two signature colors of the robots of the pilot Char Aznable. Char, nicknamed the Red Comet, is the most famous opponent of the original Mobile Suit Gundam series, and his robots (Mobile Suits, MS for short), the Zaku II and the Gelgoog, always carry a red and pink finish. The shade comes pre-thinned and ready to spray, so you can lay down the exact Char red even without an airbrush. The can usually holds 100 ml and dries to a semi-gloss mecha finish.

Use

• Shake the can thoroughly before use and during work.
• Apply thin coats from a distance of roughly 25 cm, preferring several light passes to one thick coat.
• Paint in warm, dry conditions for even drying and an even finish.
• Char's Red covers the deep main areas of the robot; the lighter parts are taken over by SG10 MS Char's Pink, as Char's machines usually carry both shades.
• Seal the finish with a clear coat: gloss under the decals, matte or semi-gloss at the end for the typical mecha look.
