A lacquer aerosol spray in a light blue shade from the Gundam Color range (Mr.Hobby) by the Japanese brand Gunze. The paints of this range are mixed to match the factory shades of Gunpla robots, so you apply the color you want straight from the can without thinning, without mixing and without an airbrush. It dries to a semi-gloss surface typical of mecha models. It is a lacquer - a strong, durable solvent-based binder.

Use

• Shake the can thoroughly before use and during spraying so that the pigment is mixed.
• Spray in thin coats from a distance of approximately 25 to 30 cm; better several light applications than one heavy coat, which could attack bare plastic.
• Work in warm, dry conditions - damp and cold worsen both the drying and the gloss.
• A light blue suits light surfaces, color accents and custom color schemes for robots.
• Acrylic paints (water-thinnable ones, for example) can be applied over dried lacquer - but not the other way around, as the lacquer could attack the acrylic beneath.
