The tool serves to separate injection-molded plastic parts from the sprues cleanly and to clean up the remains of the sprue gates before sanding. For modelers who want a sharp and clean cut into plastic. For a perfect surface it is advisable to trim the remains of the sprue gate with a knife or to sand them down with fine abrasive paper.
The tool is intended for plastic only. Do not cut metal wire, strings or photo-etched parts with it. Protect the edge from impact and keep it clean and dry.
