About product

Algae, a set of powders and fixer

This scenic set serves for creating a realistic growth of algae on models and dioramas, for example on damp surfaces, banks, ship hulls or neglected surfaces. It combines fine colored texturing powders with a liquid fixer, with which the powder is attached to the surface. It is not an opaque paint for a model but an additional scenic material.

Use

  • Apply the fixer with a brush to the surfaces where the growth is to arise.
  • Attach the powder by sprinkling it onto fresh fixer, or by mixing it with the fixer.
  • Repeated application creates a denser growth of algae.
  • The shades of the powders can be mixed for more faithful transitions and new tones.

Who the set is for

  • Makers of dioramas and scenery with water features.
  • Modelers of ships and harbor scenes.
  • Anyone interested in realistic aging and soiling of surfaces.

Keep out of the reach of children. Work powdered materials in a well-ventilated space and do not inhale them. Follow the instructions on the packaging.
