Vallejo Steel (Metal Color)

A metallic modeling paint from the Metal Color range in a 32 ml bottle. This alcohol-based airbrush paint produces a realistic darker steel shade with a pronounced metallic sheen, ideal for metal surfaces on show and for machinery parts. The paint is ready to spray straight from the bottle and is thinned only with Metal Color Thinner, never with water.

Use

• It is applied with an airbrush in thin coats; the highest sheen comes on a smooth base.
• For the full metal effect, use a gloss black primer.
• The pigment settles to the bottom, so mix the paint thoroughly before use and during work.
• It is thinned only with Metal Color Thinner; do not use water for cleaning.
• Metallic paints are hard to mask and to overspray, so apply them at the end.

Intended for modelers who need faithful steel surfaces on weapons, running gear, engines and vehicles. It gives the best results with an airbrush.
