Vallejo Surface Primer Gray is a gray primer on an acrylic base in an aerosol can. It serves to prepare the surface before the actual painting: it makes the following paints adhere, unifies the base to a neutral gray and gently fills small irregularities without drowning the detail. It creates a matte, smooth, self-leveling film suitable for models and figures in plastic, resin and metal. Neutral gray is an all-round base on which both light and dark opaque paints show to advantage.

Use

• Apply to a clean, degreased surface in thin coats from a distance of about 20 to 30 cm.
• Shake the can thoroughly before use and during the work.
• Let the primer dry and cure, and only then apply the opaque paints.
• Work in a well-ventilated area; do not spray too heavy a coat, so that detail is not lost.
