Vallejo True Metallic Metal SHADE, Obsidian Black

A water-thinnable acrylic paint from the True Metallic Metal (TMM) range of the Vallejo brand, intended for shading metallic shades. Obsidian Black is a satin matte, non-metallic shading variant in a deep black tone for the deepest shadows and maximum contrast. It is applied over a metallic base, flows into recesses and engraved lines and adds depth without suppressing the sheen of the surface underneath. The paint is heavily pigmented, flows smoothly and is fully mixable with the other shades of the range. The bottle holds 18 ml.

Use

• It is applied over a metallic base as the darkest shading layer for deep contrast.
• With a brush for targeted emphasis of detail, or thinned with water for smooth transitions.
• The thin consistency allows application with an airbrush even without further thinning.
• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
