Vallejo True Metallic Metal SHADE – Sapphire Blue

A colored metallic shade from the True Metallic Metal (TMM) line, SHADE sub-line. It is a heavily pigmented, water-based acrylic metallic ink with a glossy finish that is layered over a base metallic and tints it without suppressing the metallic gloss. The Sapphire Blue tone is a brilliant sapphire blue for candy effects and colored shading. Supplied in an 18 ml dropper bottle. Within the TMM system it combines with the base (BASE), the highlight (LIGHT) and the airbrush version.

Use

• Applied as a translucent colored glaze over a glossy metallic base coat for a sapphire candy effect.
• Can be thinned with water or a medium for finer shading and flow into details.
• Preserves the gloss of the base coat, it does not dull it.
• Shake thoroughly before use, the pigment settles at the bottom.
• Apply colored and metallic coats toward the end, as they are harder to mask and to overspray.
