TS-43 Racing Green 100ml

Tamiya TS-43 Racing Green (a 100 ml Spray, Made by Tamiya)

A spray paint from the Tamiya TS range. The binder is a synthetic lacquer that dries quickly to a smooth gloss surface. The shade matches the dark green racing color popular on sports cars. The can holds 100 ml, which covers roughly two to three car bodies in 1:24 scale. The spray is ready for immediate use and is not thinned.

Use

• Apply in thin coats from a distance of about 20 to 30 cm onto a clean, degreased and smooth surface.
• For the highest gloss, spray several thin coats instead of one heavy one.
• Do not apply it over an enamel surface, as a lacquer spray could attack it.
• Once dry, details can be added with acrylic or enamel paints, which will not attack the layer.
• Under decals the area can be coated with a clear varnish compatible with lacquer paints.

The spray is flammable, so work in a well-ventilated area away from sources of ignition and protect your airways. It is not recommended for clear polycarbonate (Lexan) RC bodies; use the Tamiya PS range for those.
