About product

Vallejo Model Color Violet Blue

A bottle of Vallejo Model Color acrylic paint, 17 ml, with a dropper cap. Violet Blue is a deep violet-blue shade with a rich, cold character. The paint is thinned with water, dries matte and is durable.

Use

  • With a brush straight from the bottle, and with an airbrush once thinned.
  • It suits deep shadows, night scenes, fabric and details where a dark blue-violet is wanted.
  • Ideal for mixing your own darker tones of blue and violet as well.
  • Apply it in thin coats and let it dry thoroughly.

Who the paint is for

For modelers and figure painters who need a deep violet-blue for shading as well as for solid areas.

Shake before use. Store out of reach of children and ventilate the room while working.

FAQ

For deep shadows, night scenes, fabric and mixing darker tones of blue and violet.

Yes, once thinned with water or Vallejo thinner. On a brush you can use it unthinned as well.

With dark shades one or two thin coats are usually enough for full coverage.
