Water FX is a scenery effect gel intended to imitate a water surface, waves, ripples, splashes and waterfalls on miniature bases, in dioramas and on gaming terrain. It is not a paint for surfaces or a kit, but a translucent modeling gel with low odor that keeps its shape even on a vertical surface and reads as moving water.
Paint the base in the shades you need first, because the gel is translucent and it is the underpainting that creates the depth of the water. Apply the gel in layers and, once it has set, brighten the crests of the waves with white for the impression of foam. Work in a ventilated area.
It suits painters of miniatures, players of tabletop games and makers of dioramas who want to add realistic water and wet areas to a scene.
