Weed Tuft (6 mm) - Summer Green

AMMO of Mig Jimenez Weed Tuft (6 mm) — Summer Green

Modeling tufts of weeds and taller grass from the Spanish manufacturer AMMO of Mig Jimenez, 6 mm high and in a summer green shade (Summer Green). It is not a model or a kit — it is material for creating vegetation on dioramas, terrain boards and figure bases. The tufts are applied on a flexible sheet from which they are taken off one by one and placed wherever you need them. The fibers are complemented with fine foliage, so the impression is of more luxuriant weeds rather than merely the stubble of short grass.

Use

• Take the tufts off one at a time with tweezers and place them irregularly — uneven spacing looks more natural than a regular grid.
• A taller 6 mm tuft suits the foot of walls, fences and trunks, ditches, the area around vehicle tracks and the edges of roads, where grass really grows thickest.
• If a tuft does not hold well enough, press it into a drop of PVA (white) glue or of modeling glue for vegetation.
• The shade can be unified with the terrain by a light spray of paint or by sprinkling pigment or dust at the root of the tuft.
• Combine tufts of different heights and shades — a uniform height across the whole area looks artificial.

Who the product is for

For builders of dioramas, terrain and figure bases in all the usual scales (typically 1:35, 1:48, 1:72 as well as figure bases) who want to create realistic summer vegetation quickly and without mixing static grass. Usable for military dioramas as well as for fantasy and wargaming.

This is not a model or a kit, but modeling material for creating vegetation. Paints, glue and the base are not included in the package. Keep out of the reach of children.
