About product

Weed Tuft (6 mm) - Winter (AMMO of Mig Jimenez)

This is a scenic accessory, not a kit. The sheet holds individual tufts of static grass about 6 mm high in light ocher and fawn tones of dried winter vegetation. The tufts have an adhesive underside, so they are easily placed on the base of a diorama or on the base of a figure or a vehicle.

Use

  • Peel the tuft off the backing and press it onto the place you want.
  • Alternate the shades and heights of the grass for a naturally irregular growth.
  • For a firmer joint, back the place with a drop of PVA or cyanoacrylate glue.
  • Complete them with pigments, snow or frost for a winter mood.

Who it is for

  • Builders of winter dioramas and vignettes in various scales
  • Figure painters bringing bases to life
  • Vehicle modelers and wargamers working with scenery

Paints, glue and other scenic materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.

FAQ

No, it is a scenic accessory: grass tufts for dressing up dioramas and bases.

It is not tied to a particular scale; tufts 6 mm high are useful across the common modeling scales.

They have an adhesive underside; for a lasting hold we recommend backing the joint with glue.
