Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the German heavy tank Tiger I in a playful egg treatment from Meng. It is not a scale model - the vehicle is deliberately caricatured into stubby, cute proportions, and the kit therefore has no fixed scale. The parts are designed for an easy build without glue (snap-fit joints), the turret rotates and the barrel can be elevated. The set contains water-slide decals. The exact number of parts is given in the instructions included in the package.
The Tiger I was the most famous German heavy tank of the Second World War. It first went into action at the end of 1942 and became famous for its powerful 8.8 cm gun and heavy armor, which made it a feared opponent for its day. The cartoon model takes over its characteristic features - the angular hull, the large turret and the long barrel - and translates them into a playful, collectible form.
The build is quick and within reach of a beginner or a child with an older modeler - the parts snap together and glue is not necessary. If you like, you can still fill and sand the joints for a cleaner look. Painting works just as it does on large models: a primer, a base shade, a dry brush on the edges and a dark wash in the details; the cute look will stand even a bold, playful camouflage.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
