28mm Afghan Tribesmen 1800-1900 (36 Figures) is a set of thirty-six multi-part plastic figures of Afghan tribal warriors.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of thirty-six unpainted figures of nineteenth-century Afghan tribal warriors, in 28 millimeter size. The figures are in hard plastic and multi-part: bodies, heads, arms and weapons are glued separately, so you put the poses and the weapons together as you like. With an irregular force that is especially useful, because a monotonous row of identical figures would be out of place.
Afghan tribal warriors were an opponent the British army could not come to terms with for a whole century. This was not an army in the European sense: these were tribal bands that gathered for a fight and dispersed again, fought on their own ground and avoided open battle. Their long rifles were surprisingly accurate for their day, and in mountain passes they could stop whole columns with them.
Separate the parts from the sprue with nippers at a distance and trim the rest with a knife. They are glued with ordinary modeling cement for polystyrene. Apply a primer. With tribal warriors, paint every figure differently; it is precisely the mismatched dress that is their main distinguishing feature and the scene gains markedly from it.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
