28mm Franco-Prussian War 1870-1871 - Prussian Infantry (39 Figures) is a set of thirty-nine figures of Prussian infantry advancing.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of thirty-nine unpainted figures of Prussian infantry of the Franco-Prussian War, in 28 millimeter size. This variant has a majority of poses for the advance: soldiers marching and with the rifle carried before them, that is, in the hold used in an attack. The sister set in the same range builds instead on loose skirmish fighting. Both contain the same sprues, only in a different proportion.
The Prussian army of 1870 beat France by the speed of its concentration and by an organization in which it had the advantage over its opponent. The infantry advanced in loose waves, because a close line would not have survived against French rifles with their longer range. The soldiers wore dark blue coats and the spiked helmet, and several patterns of helmet and field cap occurred alongside it, which allows variety on the figures.
Separate the parts from the sprue with nippers at a distance and trim the rest with a knife. They are glued with ordinary modeling cement for polystyrene. Decide on the poses and the choice of heads before gluing, as multi-part figures allow a unit to be varied markedly. Build the dark blue coat up from a dark base toward lighter layers.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
