Seat belts for the Hawker Hunter T.7 and T.7A in 1:32 scale for the Revell kit. A separate set from the SPACE range without instrument panels.
Responsibility details are not available.
A separate set of seat belts from the SPACE range for the two-seat Hawker Hunter T.7 and T.7A versions in 1:32 scale. This is not an airplane kit and, unlike the full SPACE set, it does not hold instrument panels: it deals exclusively with the belts of the ejection seat. So it suits a case where the modeler has done the instruments his own way but wants the seat dealt with professionally. The manufacturer has designated the set for the Revell kit.
An empty seat is visible at once on a model, especially in a large scale with an open canopy. Belts give a cockpit its scale and suggest that somebody sat in it. In a two-seat cockpit with side-by-side places there are two seats as well, so the effect is doubled. The buckles and the fittings are the finest part of the whole thing and it is precisely on them that the quality of the rendering tells.
Shape the belts with tweezers and bend them over the edge of a ruler or a scalpel, so that a sharp fold is formed. A slight curve and a loosely hanging end give a natural look. Fix them with a drop of super glue applied with a pin. If you are painting a belt over, work thinly so that the fittings are not flooded.
The set is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a model in its own right. The Revell kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
