A cast resin set of accessories for the British Light Utility Car 10HP in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Black Dog. It holds separate parts of cargo, baggage and equipment for the body and cab of a finished model. As base kit it names the Light Utility Car 10HP from Tamiya.
The Light Utility Car 10HP was a British light utility vehicle built on a civilian car chassis with a small four-cylinder engine; the troops nicknamed it the Tilly. The cars were used for liaison duty, for delivering small items of materiel and for carrying people at headquarters and at airfields. They were widespread with all branches of the British forces including the air force, and they appear very often in photographs from military bases.
First rinse the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine-tooth saw rather than snapping them. Sanding is better done under water or with respiratory protection. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic will not hold on resin. A primer is needed before painting. Small baggage on a small car gains a great deal when every piece gets a different shade of canvas.
The accessory set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
