DSPIAE FBT-2/0, replacement brush tips of size 2/0 are three interchangeable synthetic tips. A handle is not included in the package.
Responsibility details are not available.
Three replacement synthetic brush tips of size 2/0 from the maker DSPIAE. Note that this is not a whole brush: the tips are fitted into a handle with interchangeable tips, which the manufacturer offers separately under its own code. Anyone who does not have the handle cannot use the tips. They are supplied in threes.
A system with interchangeable tips solves the most common problem of fine brushes: after a few sessions the tip frays and the whole brush has to be thrown away. Here only the tip is changed and the handle stays. Size 2/0 is among the finest and is used for strokes into engraved lines, spot highlighting of edges, small lettering and weathering dots. The synthetic fiber holds a point and takes acrylic paints and mild thinning alike.
The tip is fitted into the handle and secured, the change is a matter of a few seconds and needs no tool. After painting, rinse the tip out before the paint dries, because dried acrylic in the heel of the fiber will open the tip up irreversibly. Never leave a brush standing in a jar of water or of thinner, the tip will twist. Between painting sessions store it loose, without pressure on the fibers, and straighten the shape now and then between fingers moistened with water.
These are replacement tips. A handle, paints and other aids are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
