Responsibility details are not available.
Two 3D printed German paired MG 81Z aircraft machine guns in a ball mount, with an ammunition feed, 1:48 scale, maker 3DF. The manufacturer states two pieces in the package. They are not kits but replacement parts for a finished model of an aircraft. The maker also keeps the MG 81Z version without a mount and the single-barreled MG 81J in the same series, so it is a good idea to choose according to the position the model has.
The MG 81Z was a pairing of two MG 81 aircraft machine guns of 7.92 mm caliber into one weapon with twin barrels, which doubled the firepower of a defensive position. The ball mount, in German Kugellafette, was a spherical gimbal set into the fuselage or into a gondola under the fuselage; it allowed the weapon to be aimed over a wide range and at the same time closed the opening in the structure. An assembly like that was part of the typical defensive armament of German bombers of the second half of the war.
Parts from 3D printing are small and brittle; separate them with a fine-toothed saw or with nippers, never break them off. Level the remains of the supports with a fine file. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before painting, spray on a thin coat of primer; a heavy coat would flood the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
