The manufacturer gives six pieces: four rifles in the basic configuration, one with a rifle grenade fitted and one in a different configuration. The parts are produced by SLA printing at high resolution and are supplied unpainted.
The FAMAS is a French bullpup assault rifle in 5.56x45 mm, which the French Army introduced at the turn of the 1970s and 1980s. The F1 version has a prominent carrying handle with the gun sights above the barrel and a folding bipod; its shape earned it the nickname the bugle. In this form the weapon appears with French units in Europe and on overseas deployments through the following decades.
At this scale the parts are very small, so have tweezers, a sharp scalpel and good lighting ready, ideally a magnifier too. Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a little dish soap, cut away any remaining print supports carefully and smooth the surface with a file. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), as ordinary polystyrene cement does not hold on this material. Apply a primer before painting and work in thin coats so the detail is not flooded.
The set is supplied unpainted and without a base kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
