The manufacturer gives six pieces: four rifles in the basic configuration, one with a rifle grenade fitted and one in a different configuration. The parts are produced by SLA printing at high resolution and are supplied unpainted.
The FAMAS is a French bullpup assault rifle in 5.56x45 mm. The G2 version is a later development stage from the 1990s: the main change is the move to STANAG magazines, the same ones most NATO weapons use, and a larger trigger guard that takes a gloved hand. The characteristic carrying handle with the gun sights and the folding bipod remained above the barrel.
Wash the printed parts first in lukewarm water with a little dish soap and check that no print supports are left on them; cut those away carefully and smooth the surface with a file. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), as ordinary polystyrene cement does not hold on this material. Apply a primer before painting, then build up thin coats of acrylic and bring out the recesses with a wash. Protect your breathing while sanding and work wet.
The set is supplied unpainted and without a base kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
