An unassembled injection-molded plastic kit of the Italian supersport motorcycle Ducati Superleggera V4 in 1:12 scale. The model faithfully captures the frame, the engine, the fairing and the characteristic biplane winglets; according to the manufacturer the engine, the swingarm, the front fork, the side fairings and the tank are fitted with screws. A decal sheet is included. Paints, glue and accessories are not included in the package.
The Superleggera V4 is a lightened, road-homologated variant of the Ducati Panigale V4 from a limited series. It relies on carbon composite in the fairing, the frame and the swingarm and on aerodynamic winglets on the sides of the front fairing. It is powered by the Desmosedici Stradale R four-cylinder engine of 998 cc with desmodromic valve gear.
Assemble and paint the frame and the engine before final assembly. Use a primer, an airbrush and a gloss clear coat on the glossy fairing; cover the sponsor decals and the markings with a clear coat so that their edges disappear. The chrome and carbon surfaces come into their own with patient surface preparation.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
