Plastic kit of the legendary pirate sailing ship Black Pearl in 1:150 scale from Revell. The model uses a snap-together system (click system), so it goes together without glue and suits less experienced builders as well. The finished model reaches a length of about 26 cm.
The Black Pearl is a fictional pirate ship made famous by the film series about Captain Jack Sparrow. She is marked out by a black hull, dark sails and a richly decorated stern, which makes her one of the best known ships in popular culture.
The parts are joined by snapping them together, though the strength of the joints can be improved with a drop of glue. The hull and the decks stand out once they are painted and the wood grain is lightly picked out with a wash. The yards, the masts and the rigging add to the impression; a display base for the finished model is available as well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
