Topolino, the light staff car of the German-Italian Africa group with a crew and an IF8 cart is a plastic kit of the Italian light car with figures and a handcart in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Italian light passenger car which was called Topolino, in military staff use in North Africa, in 1:35 scale from Bronco. Besides the car the package holds a crew and the German IF8 handcart, so a whole scene can be built out of one box.
Topolino, that is little mouse, was the nickname of a tiny Italian people's car of the second half of the 1930s — it was one of the first truly small and affordable cars in Europe. In North Africa a number of them ended up in military service as staff and liaison vehicles, because they were economical and agile enough. The IF8 handcart was a German two-wheeled cart for carrying ammunition and gear, which the infantry towed behind them or hitched to a vehicle. The combination of a tiny civilian car with a military cart is typical of the North African campaign.
Finish and paint the interior of the car and the figures before you close the assembly up; a tiny car has a small interior, but one that can be seen into. Clean the mold seams off the figures, paint the face and the hands separately and seat them only after painting. The car was of civilian design, so military service soon wore it out: paint rubbed off the edges, dust and dented fenders will give the model credibility. Add pronounced dust in the lower part to the sand color of the North African campaign.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
