A figure of a Sherman tank gunner in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian brand Spalah. 3D-printed resin, supplied unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a single figure, not a set: the gunner of an American tank crew from the range the manufacturer calls Best job i ever had, in 1:35 scale. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Spalah, which 3D-prints its figures from photopolymer resin. The manufacturer intends the figure to be placed on the armor of an M4A3E8 Sherman tank, so it follows the shape of the hull and suits a model as well as a diorama.
The gunner in a Sherman crew sat in the turret to the right of the gun, aimed and fired both the main weapon and the coaxial machine gun. He had no hatch of his own, so he got into the turret through the commander's, and at a halt he was among those most often found outside on the armor. His work in the cramped turret was the most tied to instruments of the whole crew.
Wash the print resin residue off the figure, cut the print supports away and sand the marks with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). On resin a primer is a must. Try the fit on the armor dry before painting, as the seated pose and the hands resting have to follow the shape of the hull. The leather items and the coveralls come to life with a dark wash and a fine dry brush.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
