Flak 30 and KwK 30 muzzle parts, 1:35, 2 pcs — a 3D-printed resin accessory from GINGER CAT.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin accessory for models in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT: a pair of muzzle parts for the German 2 cm Flak 30 and KwK 30 guns. The manufacturer gives two pieces in the package. The point of the accessory is the same as with the other printed barrels: the plastic part has a blanked-off muzzle and walls that are too thick, while printed resin allows an open muzzle and a thin outline.
The 2 cm Flak 30 was the first German small-caliber anti-aircraft gun built in large series, and the KwK 30 was its tank counterpart, carried for example by the Panzer II light tank. Both weapons shared the same basic design, so the shape of the muzzle matches as well. The Flak 30 served on a towed carriage, on trucks and on ships, and in the second half of the war the faster Flak 38 replaced it.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
