Flak 38 and KwK 38 muzzle parts, 1:35, 5 pcs — a 3D-printed resin accessory from GINGER CAT.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin accessory for models in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT: five muzzle parts for the German 2 cm Flak 38 and KwK 38 guns. The manufacturer gives five pieces in the package, which comes in handy with these weapons in particular, because they often appeared in a four-barreled form. Printed resin allows an open muzzle and a thin outline, which a plastic part tends not to have.
The Flak 38 was an improved 2 cm anti-aircraft gun with a substantially higher rate of fire than the older Flak 30, and the KwK 38 was its tank counterpart, carried for example by the Panzer II or by armored cars. Its best-known form was the Flakvierling 38 quadruple mount, which brought four barrels together on one mounting and became the terror of low-flying aircraft. The weapons were mounted on towed carriages, trucks, half-tracks and railway cars.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
