G3 rifles, 1:35, 5 pcs — a 3D-printed resin set of five G3 rifles in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT.
Responsibility details are not available.
A 3D-printed resin set of G3 rifles in 1:35 scale from GINGER CAT. The manufacturer gives five pieces in the package. The weapons can be put into the hands of figures, leaned against a wall, laid on the bed of a vehicle or placed around a scene; in the same sub-line the manufacturer also lists other modern small arms, so a whole patrol can be armed consistently.
The G3 is a German automatic rifle in 7.62 mm NATO caliber, introduced in the 1950s. It was simple, rugged and undemanding to produce, so besides the Bundeswehr a number of other states adopted it or built it under license, and it stayed in service for decades. For a modeler that means a soldier can be armed with a G3 rifle from the 1960s right up to present-day missions. In 1:35 scale the weapon is about thirty millimeters long, so it is clearly visible on a figure.
3D-printed parts are small and brittle: separate them with a fine-tooth saw or with nippers and level the remains of the print supports with a fine file. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); solvent cement for plastic does not hold. Before painting, spray a thin coat of primer, as a heavy coat would drown the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
