German jerrycans of the early form 1:35, twelve pieces from Plusmodel: a printed set with the markings of the makers Brose und Co. Coburg and ABP.
Responsibility details are not available.
During the war jerrycans were made at a number of works and each one marked its product with its own stamp on the side. Modelers welcome that, because the marking makes it possible to place a can in a period: the early pieces carry different names than the late ones. This set captures the early form with the markings of the works Brose und Co. Coburg and ABP. The twelve jerrycans are made by 3D printing, so the pressed ribs, the handles and the stamp have crisp edges. It is an accessory, not a kit.
The package contains twelve printed jerrycans in 1:35 scale in the early form. Brackets, paints and glue are not included. The parts are unpainted and have to be cut off the support structures.
Cut the parts off with a sharp scalpel and level the surfaces with a fine file; sand with respiratory protection. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate, that is with super glue. The printed stamp on the side will stand out if, after the base coat, you draw a dark seeping wash over it and wipe the surplus away: the letters stay dark and the surroundings clean. Do not paint all the jerrycans in the same shade; a varying degree of wear looks more believable.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
