Wheel masks for the M8 Greyhound in 1:35 scale, cut for Italeri kits. Six large tires done in a few minutes.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of masks for painting the wheels of the American M8 Greyhound armored car in 1:35 scale. The set is cut for kits from Italeri. The Greyhound stands on six large wheels, so outlining the tires by hand is a particularly slow job on it, and that is exactly where ready-made masks pay off most.
The M8 Greyhound was a six-wheeled armored reconnaissance car with an open turret and a 37 mm gun. It was fast, agile on roads and gave the crew a good field of view, but its armor was thin, especially on the floor, which caused it trouble in minefields. It was used by the Americans and their allies and stayed in service in a number of armies long after the war.
The wheel is placed in the cutout in the flexible mask, which covers the tire and exposes the disc. Work this way: paint the tire first, then fit the mask and spray over the disc. Do not stretch the mask, press it down with a pointed wooden stick once it is seated and spray perpendicular to the surface in thin coats. According to the manufacturer the masks can be used again after cleaning.
This is a painting aid and does not contain the model itself. Paints and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
