This is an accessory for a model, not a vehicle kit: a set of antennas and their mounts for modern military vehicles in 1:35 scale. According to the manufacturer the set holds antennas for tactical radios and their base mounts, interference-suppression antennas and shortwave antennas, plus adapters for the slanted mounting of whip antennas on armored cars, and water cans. It is therefore more a collection of small equipment than a single part.
Antennas are among the most prominent and at the same time the worst rendered features of modern vehicles: on the real vehicle they are thin, long, bent and anchored in a sprung mount, whereas in a kit they are replaced by a short cone or missing altogether. Yet it is precisely the way an antenna is mounted and the kit stowed on the cargo bed that places a vehicle in time and place better than its camouflage alone.
Glue the mounts and small parts according to their material: plastic with a thin cement for polystyrene, any metal or resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The antenna whip itself is often replaced with thin wire or a bristle, so that it holds the bend and does not snap. Paint before fitting, as small parts are hard to reach once glued in place, and leave the bend of the antenna slightly irregular.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
